Halloween

Ella decided to be a unicorn again this year. She is quite an excellent unicorn I must say.

I had to bribe Alex with a few M&Ms to pose for this picture. The outfit wasn't too comfortable. So, he went trick-or-treating as a little bat instead.

This is all of the kids' cousins on my side. Quite a dashing bunch!

The little ones needed a little reassurance from their dads.

They look so much bigger this year! Will is a Jedi, complete with Lightsaber.

I was surprised they only lasted about half an hour this time. Will was getting over the flu so I think he was eager to come back inside where it was warm and cozy.

Fall Fun

Ella went to HeeHaw farm for her preschool field trip. We had so much fun.

This is Ella's friend Megan. They had fun petting the sheep.

Alex loved seeing the animals up close and personal, too.
He even got brave enough to touch the little pigs.

I tried to help Alex pet the donkey and it freaked him out. He kept going back to see it, though.

We took a hayride to pick out some pumpkins.

Alex was so cute with his pumpkin. It had a little hook on the stem which he hung off his index finger. He walked all over with it swinging alongside him.

Ella was so brave going down the slide! She went so fast I could barely get a picture!

Jumping in the hay. They sure had fun. It was a perfect day, too.

What Alex will never remember is that he actually enjoys this! A few days later he came to me with a selected outfit and then proceeded to request shoes, sunglasses, and a bag. We must have our accessories! Believe me, beneath that shimmering princess dress is All Boy!

I don't know why crawling into confined spaces can be so entertaining, but Alex was sure having fun in this little bin the other day.

It reminded me of when he was small enough to snuggle in the crook of my arm.

He's getting so big!

Happy Birthday Will!

Will invited some friends over for his birthday this year.

They had a fun treasure hunt, played outside, enjoyed mini pizzas and watched a bit of a Pokemon movie.

The pizzas were a big hit!

I can't believe Will's 7!

Will wanted a birthday cake that resembled a Poke Ball. He drew a picture of it and Kimball did his best to re-create the image. It turned out pretty good and really yummy!

Will got lots of fun toys. He loves legos and playmobil right now. He's always a character. Look at that silly face as he opens his presents.
I'm glad he had a sweet birthday. He has really nice friends, too.
