I stole the collage idea from my sister who has a "wall of fame" in her house. Thanks Nikki! I love seeing all my kids' artwork displayed in one place. This year, Will is thankful for "my parents, my house, water to drink, the earth, my wonderful friends, and my family." Alex is thankful for "markers and coloring, stickers, stars, my eyes, candy, pumpkins, and kitty-cats." I'm thankful for my beautiful kids, amazing husband, warm house, and great friends.Tuesday, November 30, 2010

green moustache
Okay, so some of you know how I dabble in whole foods, raw foods, veggie dinners, etc. Not with tremendous passion, but we're trying to incorporate healthier eating when we can! Anyway, I stumbled upon this website http://greensmoothiegirl.com and have enjoyed her approach because it focuses on the things you can do to pack more healthy, living foods into your diet. One of those ways is with a green smoothie (water, spinach, apple, banana, etc.). We've done smoothies before, but I got out of the habit. When I re-discovered the ease, quickness, and health benefits of them, I was all about trying to get my kids to have some, too. Well, I don't have the fanciest blender and sometimes they turn out more chewy and less smooth-y which the kids don't really love (although the flavor is still great). A few weeks ago she posted a series of pictures of kids with their Green Smoothie moustaches and it worked like magic! The kids totally wanted to drink some so they could get a green mustache, too! I snapped this cute one of Alex.

Will's baptism
I was so excited for Will's baptism. I stayed up late cleaning the house for company to come, but at some point I realized I simply couldn't rest because I was so happy for Will. It was such a special day.

So many people came. Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike and Aunt Amber with their families came too, we just didn't get enough photos!
Will's cousin Jack got to be baptized also! It was so neat for the two cousins to share this day. Our baptisms were held in the American Fork Tabernacle which is a beautiful building (I should've been in it before now...). Aunt Amber and Aunt Breanne sang a really pretty rendition of "When I am Baptized" and I gave a talk about receiving the Holy Ghost which was really fun.
We all came back to our house for sandwiches and fruit and some sweet desserts! So fun. I think I'm starting to look exhausted at this point... oh well, it was worth it!
