Ready

Isn't this just the cutest picture ever?! Ella was born ready for school I think. And now, since school's started it's like we've awakened a sleeping giant! She wants to know everything! This girl's gonna do great things.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Alex was so excited it was finally his birthday! He had to wait for Ella's, Mommy's, and Daddy's and now it was his turn! He got to play with cousins all morning and came home to a good stack of presents and cake!

This year he got some Diego and Dora videos, a soccer ball, 3 puzzles, a color wonder set, and play doh! I'm jealous.

He insisted on pink frosting. It must taste the best! We're workin' those blue and green candles though!

Things Alex Says

This little boy has been making us giggle lately. The other day Mimi snapped at him real bad. I said, "Alex, were you hitting Mimi?" He said, "No. No, I not hitting her. I puncheen her!"

The kids were telling me that they had mosquito bites on them and Alex piped up, "And I have butterfly bites, Mom!"

I asked Alex if he wanted me to move him closer to the table and he said, "Don't call me sir! I Alex!" I tried over and over, but he kept thinking I was calling him "sir" anytime I said "closer".

I was on the phone with my sister and Alex came and climbed up on my lap and said, "Say 'bye' to yo fwend." I guess he wanted my attention.

sweet dreams

Ella was super whiney today. I thought she might be tired and finally sent her to her room until Daddy got home. Forty minutes later I found her like this. She said later that the music helped calm her down. It was turned real low, which is why I'm guessing she pressed her ear to the speaker. Such a sweatheart.

some cuteness

Ian is officially 4 months old now. Woohoo! We are having fun with his sweet smiles and watching him play more with toys. He loves when we sing him a song and always wants to be held to see what's going on.
