Thanksgiving Feast

I got to help in Ella's class for their Thanksgiving Feast. They really had a feast! Complete with pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes and chicken.
Ian scored big time. It really worked that this was a feast because otherwise I don't think he would have sat in one place for very long!

The kids were very cute. I loved to see them learning about the history of Thanksgiving.

We actually hosted Adam, Breanne & fam, Mom and Lauren's family at our house for Thanksgiving this year. It was nice not to have to cook the whole meal! We played a couple of fun Thanksgiving games too, like scattergories, but things you were grateful for and then we tried to out-do each other with coming up with unusual things to be grateful for. I think Adam won with the most interesting words. Now I've forgetten them, but one was German!

I can do it by myself!

Ian has been insistant lately on feeding himself. He's actually not too shabby manipulating that spoon, but it really helps to take away any and all clothing for the event. Another big, independent learner in the family. . . Look at that satisfaction!

Snuggles

I'm actually not sure how these two ended up still at the same time for more than a couple of seconds, but Alex was so excited to snuggle with Mimi on the couch with his blanket.

Most of this is Alex again. Ella did a fun mixing colors paper and her sweet Primary teacher took pictures of their class.

I love this cute little dude Alex drew. It reminds me a little of Japanese Anime art.

Ella lost her front tooth!

She's growing up so fast these days. She's going to look like a big kid when those big teeth come in!

Alex just had to join in the fun.

Silly Goose

That would be Ian. He likes to eat.

I was getting some food for him and before I even turned to give it to him he was making this face. "You have Complete Access, Right HERE!!" It was hilarious.

And he likes to climb all over me and be a goof.
