playtime

Alex lined up all his blocks in a row with a little cylinder on top. It reminded me of this older picture of Will. I guess Will is 4 1/2 in this picture. Alex is not quite 3 yet. Pretty cute, though!

12 weeks old!

I love this sweet one of Ian's face. Kimball likes to call Ian "bright eyes." Ella let him sit with her kitty doll. He liked grabbing onto its little ear.
Such a sweetheart. It looks like he's sucking on his thumb, but it's actually his index finger. So cute!

swim lessons

The kids are little fish this summer! Ella loves to push off the edge and swim furiously to her teachers in the deep end.

Alex does a great back float. He loves the little games they get to play, too.

Will got some awesome new techniques this year. They got to play sharks and minnows and he was the shark!

It's odd to me that this is the quietest part of my day!

Little Cassanova

Ian was doing these adorable smiles for Grandma today. He'd open his mouth wide and lift up his little tongue. I guess he likes the attention he gets when she's around!

You belong in the Zoo!

Kimball's work paid for all the employees and their families to go to the zoo at 5pm Friday night and have a yummy barbecue.

This hat was probably the best thing I brought with us. It saved Ian from the sun and helped him to relax and sleep soundly.

We got to ride the train and the carousel.

And even got faces painted!

It was a pretty fun evening!

11 weeks old!

Will sat next to Ian and read to him. It was so cute. Ian sat listening and smiling. Then, when Will walked away he started to cry.

Some silliness

We got this new swing that shines colors above Ian's head. He was so mesmerized looking at it change from red, to green, to yellow. It was so cute!

Blessing Day

Baby Ian was blessed today. He's 9 weeks old, now! It was especially sweet to have 3 new men stand in the circle with Kimball as he blessed him. It felt special to have everyone be there to share in that. We weren't expecting so much to be said about this little guy, but it sounds like he's got a really special heart that will be sensitive to others and connected to our Heavenly Father.

We were so glad to have so many people come celebrate with us. We had yummy sweet and sour meatballs with rice (Erika's recipe) and salad and fruit and rolls and dessert. It was fun having all the kids play and getting to relax. I was surprised how much everyone talked with each other, too. Thanks, everybody for a great day!
