Happy Birthday, Will!

Will wanted a Harry Potter birthday this year. I went all out, considering Halloween was just around the corner. It always feels good when you can re-use decorations!

Will has made some great friends at school. He did a good job of making both school and neighborhood friends feel included. He also made a lightning bolt out of sprinkles on his cake, though it's hard to tell. They watched a Harry Potter movie and then did cake and presents. Pretty easy party for me!

Yummy pizza and cake! I tried to dress up as a Hogwarts Professor.

Will got a new bike for his birthday! It was a little awkward at first, but with some help from his friends, he was zooming around the neighborhood in no time!

Everybody stepped outside for some fun bikeriding!

More kids' artwork. I love to see their creativity and the change of the seasons through their art. The kids started attending a new charter school this year. They have great teachers.

Smiles

I got to watch my former babysitter's baby today! Her name is Haley and she is so cute!
She was giving these great big smiles to Ian.

Ella got to go to a birthday party to the "Enchanted Forest" for her friend, Ella Poulsen's 7th birthday. I didn't realize they were really going to the forest! Looks like they had a lot of fun. She came back transformed into a fairy princess!

Relief Society Retreat

Our fun Relief Society Committee decided to bring everyone up to Heber Valley Camp for a retreat on September 7th. We had a couple cabins and set up some canopies. It was so fun to visit with each other and have fun treats, stay up late playing games, and make crafts. Then, as if that wasn't enough, we went on a challenge course. There were some really fun simple challenges and the grand finale was a giant rope swing. I wasn't sure if my stomach would handle it, so I sat out, but I had so much fun with these ladies!

When I got home, Kimball and the kids surprised me with a big sign on the garage door. Each one had colored a couple letters. It was really beautiful! I guess I am missed after all. :)
