Will and Ella have both had incredible teachers this year. This is Ella with Mrs. Hopkins and Will with Mrs. Sanders. I'm so grateful for both of them and how much they have taught and influenced my children for good.

Playgroup Pool Party!
Alex has been part of a playgroup on the days he's not in Preschool. I decided to have a fun pool party on our last day of playgroup. They all had a lot of fun and got quite creative with the water, too!

Water gun refilling station.
A few of the boys finally slowed down enough to warm up on their towels. I've been grateful for our playgroup and getting to know these boys. They've had so much fun playing together this year.

Alex's Preschool Graduation
Alex did a great job at his Preschool Graduation. He got his orange belt in karate and showed us how he could break the wood with his foot. They all did lots of blocks, punches and kicks and demonstrated how much they have learned.
They did a choreographed routine to "California Girls" and sang some of the other songs they learned. It was so cute.
When they walked out in cap and gown they sand "I'm proud to be an American" and finished off with a grand finale dance to "School's Out For Summer." Such a fun day!
Way to go, Alex! I'm so proud of you!

School Carnival
The kids had a blast at their school carnival. It was crazy, they had tons of activities that you could earn tickets for. Someone from Ella's class handed Ella 20 tickets when we walked in, so the kids earned a bunch of prizes. Ian was crazy the whole time, too. I'm so glad Amber came with me.
I think the kids really enjoyed it!

Happy Birthday, Ella!
Ella turned 7! She Loves Squinkies, so she got a few of those and some clay and art stuff. She also got a beautiful charm necklace and jammies and a cute outfit from Grandma!
Isn't she so cute!
We had a friend party on Saturday. Ella wanted a dog and horse party. So, we colored pictures, made some animal sugar cookies and painted fingernails and toenails. She had a lot of fun. Thankfully, my sister-in-law, came and spent the night with me when Kimball went out of town with his brothers. She probably regrets it after having to help me and four kids with a school carnival and a birthday party the following morning!
Mother's Day
Ella made this beautiful craft rose and an origami tissue box for me at school. She is so sweet.
Check out my loot! The kids all worked together on the big poster. Each brought home a bookmark from Primary and Ian got his hands painted, too! Ian said it was yucky but it wasn't "owie." Kimball made a beautiful card with the kids' pictures in it. And I got a sweet necklace with the birthstone of each kid in it. Thanks for giving me a great day!

Will's Project
Will made this neat diagram of a colony-era carriage and house. He also made a windmill. They spent a lot of time studying this time period and plantations. I'm amazed at how much he's learned this year about mythology, writing, the world, climates, the colonies, many stories, and handwriting. Good job, Will!

Hot!
The weather is warming up fast! Alex and Ella were only out for about 15 minutes and they both came in purple! It's really not that hot yet, but I think their bodies take time to adjust!
Check out Ian in the bottom pic. :)
