Jailbird

Since Ian started crawling, we had to put a large gate around the stairs to protect him from falling down them. But all the action is down in the family room! So he often makes a bee-line for this spot where he can observe the goings-on of the other kids. It is pretty cute to see this little jailbird whistfully sitting on his perch.

And who can blame him!? Look at all that fun stuff down there!
