Alex is a big 5 year old today! He was so composed and careful opening each present. Everybody was excited for him and Will kept up the enthusiasm, too!

A couple days after his birthday, Alex had a friend party. He invited some neighborhood friends and his cousin, Austin. Evelyn liked hanging out with Ian.
We played musical chairs, and even Uncle Ryan got into the action!
Next, we had an obstacle course. Alex likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Jr., so we pretended that there was a pirate ship and ocean and island in the backyard. Look at Eden go!
Alex wanted a pinata, so we threw that in, too!
Alex got great presents from his friends. And of course, he had to have blue "pup"cakes, as Alex calls them. Alex has been planning his party for months. This kid knows how to have fun. I think everyone had a great time.
