Field Day

Our last big hurrah for school was field day on May 29. We played soccer with a beach ball and swim noodles, played with a parachute, did water relays, a three legged race, human hula hoop chain, minute to win it games, and capture the flag.

Alex and Ian found some very nice friends to push them on the swings. Then, they played on the playground for the final 3 hours. We had small kids bused over to the park in the morning, and then older kids for the afternoon. It was about 6 hours in the park and I was amazed at how well Ian and Alex did.

The kids seemed to have a lot of fun. In this game, two kids got vaseline on their nose and had to see how many cotton balls they could drop into the bowl. Hilarious laughter ensued...
It was a great day and great way to end a very busy year!
