Yesterday I got out a bag of little plastic animals. Alex "ooh"ed and "ahh"ed and picked his legs up in a little dance. He then refused to take a nap without his little dalmation and cheetah (we called it a kitty). He's also really gotten interested in Baby Einstein, which Will also loved. He'll choose a movie and come find me to put it in. Then he sits on the couch and does a wiggly dance to the music and shakes his head side-to-side. He also talks to the movie, as if practicing some of the words. It's all pretty cute. It's fun to see him get so interested in new things like animals and toys. Another busy little boy in our house!
Oh, did I mention he can climb on top of our kitchen table? He's also learned how to climb on the outside of the railing of our stairs (thanks to Ella). But at least he's temporarily stopped unraveling my toilet paper, wax paper, and foil. Although that may come back at any time.
