Will turned 9 years old! Hooray!
Will wanted to go to the Discovery Museum with his best friend, Alex for his birthday. They had a ton of fun and then Will got to go to the Build-A-Bear Workshop and make a cute Teddy Bear there, too. It was a great day. The next day we had a little family party for him, too.
The kids have really gotten into these Zhu-Zhu pet toys. So, Will got a couple to play with. They are a lot easier than the real thing!
And a Wii game, of course.
I may have been feeling just a teensy-bit overwhelmed by all the festivities. This was a make-shift birthday cake...
Will had fun making these cute little monster creations. He was pretty good at it, too!
Okay, here's the real cake...
We made this raw mint chocolate chip cake out of real vanilla and nuts and mint and cacao and coconut oil and things like that. It froze into shape and really tasted like a cheesecake! It was a great healthy treat. I was proud of Will for wanting to try something new this year. He's been wanting to eat super healthy for a couple weeks. (There may have been some bribery involved.)
