The Joy of Reading
Tonight Will was reading one of his take home books by himself. It was really neat to watch him read the words and not really struggle over sounding them out. Now it seems he's reading to "read" --to understand the story. I just watched as he turned each page and said the words. It was really beautiful.

Wow! This is really cool that he's getting to the understanding point. It's sort of amazing how kids develop and grow.
